Ashley Remy is a student at New Mexico State University majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Human Biology and will be graduating in the spring semester of 2013. Her main interests are in bioarchaeology in examing dental remains and the effects of environmental resources of the past that can be seen in present times. She also is curious of the effects of the rise of agriculture as seen in the renown Agricultural Revolution. A region of study is difficult, as it is known that the entire globe has been affected by such revolution, yet currently Ashley will be doing research in Peru at a funerary site located in Marcajirca, north of Lima in the Andes Mountains. This blog will serve as a means to investigate these findings in Peru as well as other Anthropological studies that Ashley may embark on her career path of discovering the thrills of our human past.
